My Dad Catching a Wave in Jacksonville

It can be a little confusing, but I have two dads. The dad that raised me and my biological dad. My adopted dad passed away last August - its still difficult for me to discuss. My biological dad is still going strong and catching waves in Florida. Way to go Grandpa Brian!

AutoBio, part 1

This is the summary, because I don't have time to write lots of stuff right now...

• adopted as a baby
• grew up in California (Sacramento)
• ran away from home as a teen and lived "on the streets" for almost 2 years
• in and out of juvenile institutions many times
• forced to move to Missouri (after being picked up by juvenile cops in Ca.)
• graduated H.S. in MO (1988)
• graduated college (B.S.Ed.) (1993)
• married H.S. sweetheart, Patty, in 1994 (B.S.W. cum laude)
  
• children... lots of children from 1997 until 2005
• Patty and I are tired... very tired... will someone babysit for us?
• my dad passed away Aug. 2007
  
• working, living and loving in the Ozarks
• ... and they lived happily ever after.
